Ultimate-R: Attic Ductwork Sealing and Insulation System

The ULTIMATE-R process, as simple as 1, 2, 3...

Ultimate-R is an exciting new insulation containment system which is installed over supply and return air ducts in attics. This system consists of a series of moisture-resistant, light-weight compartments placed around uninsulated or inadequately insulated HVAC ducts, providing a channel for a maximum amount for blown insulation around the ducts. It can potentially add up to an R-38 value of additional insulation to HVAC ducts installed in new or existing or homes or buildings.

Ultimate-R is simple and quick to install, either by professionals or do-it-yourselfers. The result is reduced conductive and convective energy losses in both summer and winter. Coupled with sealing the ductwork, this process saves homeowners a substantial amount of energy and money. Users may even be eligible for tax credits or utility rebates and incentives.
